This all day experience takes you from the hustle and bustle of central Bangkok, to the north of the capital to Koh Kret island located in the Chao Phraya River. Koh Kret is an area where the descendants on the Mon people have settled, even today Koh Kret island has maintained traditions and cultures of its ancestors. This tour to Ko Kret Island begins in the morning, when you’ll be collected by your Terracotta Island tour guide from your hotel by minibus. Then we will leave Bangkok to Nonthaburi province this is just a 1- hour drive.  

On arrival to Nonthaburi province you will then take a ferry to cross to Ko Kret Island when you land on the island you will then travel by bicycle. You will head to Mon Temple, the landmark of the Terracotta Island, when you visit Terracotta Island, Mon Temple is a place where you must stop to explore further. Mon Temple is a Buddhist temple in a Mon-style marble. You can view the Buddha statue and take a look around the museum. 

Then it's time to get back on the bikes, the next stop is to visit a local pottery workshop to spend a little time with the local artisan. Here you will watch a master potter at work, carving intricate designs into Terracotta pots. You will also have the fantastic opportunity to create your own masterpiece. 

We will continue the bicycle tour of Terracotta Island exploring Koh Kret and stopping off along the way to meet the locals and find out more about their way of life. At lunch we will cycle to a local restaurant to sample some of the local cuisine. When you visit Koh Kret, you’ll notice that it is a car free island, vibrant and green. It only takes 45 minutes to cycle the whole diameter of the island, it is a wonderful, magical place an oasis on the edge of Bangkok.
