This County Galway Tour sets off from Galway city at 09:00, your professional Galway tour guide and driver will head over to the breath-taking Wild Atlantic Way, where you will be able to absorb some of the most beautiful coastal views Ireland has to offer. When you tour the Wild Atlantic Way, you will notice diverse landscapes and marvel at the mighty Atlantic Ocean. 

After visiting the Wild Atlantic Way, this County Galway tour then heads over to the Cliffs of Moher, passing through some delightful, charming villages and hamlets, including Ballyvaughan, Kinvara, Ballindereen, Clarenbridge and Kilcolgan. The tour from the Wild Atlantic Way to the Cliffs of Moher will take you past Medieval ruins, churches, fields of ponies and horses as well as quays and harbours. You will then arrive at a delightful little fishing village, namely Doolin. 

At approximately 11:00 you will board the Ferry at Doolin to cruise to Inisheer, which is the most eastern island and smallest of the Aran Islands. Inisheer means rear island in Gaelic, though it has been somewhat Anglo-sised over the years as the original name would have been Inis Oirr and is located in Galway Bay. Inisheer has a tiny population of only 250-300 residents and only measures 8 square km. Whilst making the ferry crossing for the visit to Inisheer, your Galway tour guide will make you aware of any sightings of bottlenose dolphins that like to follow the ferry. Upon docking at Inisheer (the crossing to the island only takes 30 minutes) you will have plenty of time to tour the little island, where you will be able to explore medieval castles, historic churches and wander the lanes and walk the gorgeous isolated beaches. Find yourself a local with a pony and trap or hire a bicycle and you can easily explore the whole island within a couple of hours.

You will then need to head back to the ferry to cross back to the mainland but before you head back to the main land this County Galway tour will take you on a scenic cruise around and under the magical Cliffs of Moher. They say the best view of the cliffs is from the sea and it's from this point of view that you can experience the vastness of the 214 meter high cliffs, spanning an enormous 8 km in length. The ferry will the arrive back into Doolin, where you will explore the Cliffs of Moher further, the coach will stop for around an hour, and it's here you will have the chance to take some amazing photographs and admire the views. 

After your visit to the Cliffs of Moher, you will board the coach and take a short trip to Lisdoonvama, which is the home of the famous matchmaking festival!
