Your tour to Herend Porcelain Factory and visit to Lake Balaton begins with you being collected from your hotel by our air conditioned coach. We will then head over to the Herend Porcelain Factory, which is the worlds largest factory for porcelain. Established way back in 1826, Herend Porcelain Manufactory has been designing and manufacturing top quality porcelain for nearly 200 years. When you visit Herend Porcelain Manufactory, you will experience the world of porcelain making at this marvellous factory, you will learn of the techniques and be taken on a guided tour of Herend Porcelain Manufactory. After the tour of the porcelain factory, you will then have the chance to walk around the museum and view the best examples of Herend porcelain. Upon the completion of your tour of Herend Porcelain Factory, you will then enjoy a coffee and some free time, where you can peruse the shops.
After your Herend Porcelain Experience, we will head on over to the gorgeous Lake Balaton, this is a fresh-water lake and Lake Balaton is the largest in Central Europe. We will stop off at the Tihany Abbey where you can take a break for lunch (please note that lunch is not included within the package).
Following the visit to Lake Balaton, we will drive over to Balatonfüred, which is the oldest spa resort in Hungary. Here you will be able to stretch your legs and walk along the famous promenade.
The tour will then head back to Budapest where it concludes.
