Explore east Africa in a 6 day Safarithrough Uganda

Day 1:- Entebbe area, Camping
Upon your arrival in Uganda at Entebbe airport, your guide will pick you and give a full safari briefing and take you shopping for your safari drinks then head to your designated campsite. Depending on your flight details, the first highlight of your safari will be a sunset boat cruise or nature walk. Camping will be Botanical gardens Entebbe at a camp-site with permanent ablutions.

Day 2: - Entebbe to Kibale Forest
After breakfast, drive south via Fort Portal through verdant countryside and past traditional homesteads and farms. Fort-Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon. Afternoon visit to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary to search for smaller mammals and primates. Look out for the rare red colobus monkey and the sitatunga. The guided trail through the swamp is also one of the best guided bird trails in East Africa as well as offering a realistic opportunity to see up to six different primate species in a space of a few hours.

Day 3:- Chimpanzee tracking & transfer to Queen
After an early morning heavy breakfast enter Kibale Forest Sub-Sahara’s largest hard-wood forest and track Chimpanzee. Kibale National park hosts over 13 primate species including l’ hoestes, red colobus, blues, red tailed and gray – cheeked mangabey. The guide will provide detailed explanations, not only on primates, but on all the forest fauna and flora and will ensure that your walk is both informative and enjoyable. This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and seeing primates at close quarterst . After return to the lodge for lunch and embark on a drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park with an opportunity to view game as you enter the park which is an evening game-drive for a chance to catch glimpse of the some of the amazing wildlife species.

Day 4:- Explore Queen Elizabeth National Park
Employ the network of trails for avenues to explore the park’s rich
wildlife in an early morning game drive activity. Break for lunch and then take an afternoon boat-ride on the famous Kazinga channel. It’s a haven for the Nile Crocodiles andHippos among other aquatic & semi-aquatic animals. Multi-coloured flocks of birds line the banks of the channel then later return from the boat cruise and transfer you back to the campsite.

Day 5:- Queen to Lake Mburo
Today's drive is through what is probably East Africa’s most spectacular scenery, the savanna grassland which reaches the Kyambura Gorge as you exit Queen Elizabeth National Park heading to Mburo National Park. Lunch on arrival and head out for an afternoon boat-cruise lake Mburo. There is much wildlife to be seen from hippos to crocodiles, birds of all kinds, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes and much more.

Day6:- Lake Mburo to Kampala
Be adventurous and do a walking safari after breakfast. walk in the park with big herds of Zebra, Impala, Eland , Warthogs ,buffalo and other savannah species. For birders, this is one of the best place to find African Fin foot, Papyrus, Bush Shrike. Game-drive en-route as you leave Lake Mburo behind you and return to Kampala.
