Spend a day discovering the wonderful city of Colombo

You will be picked up from your hotel (only in Colombo City) or in front of dutch hospital - Colombo 01 by our chauffeur guide at 08:30 a.m. and commence the day tour visiting Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya (Kelaniya Temple) a Buddhist temple which is important due to it has been hallowed during the third visit of Lord Buddha to Sri Lanka.

Then proceed to the largest museum in the country the National Museum Colombo and Gangaramaya temple which was established 120 years ago and Seema Malakaya which was built according to a design of Geoffray Bawa.

After the temple visit stop for lunch at a local restaurant where you can enjoy Sri Lankan meals at a buffet.(Your expense)

After lunch visit BMICH (Bandaranayake Memorial Conference Hall), Independence square and proceed to shopping with a wide range of offerings, is known for good quality products at very attractive pricing. ODEL, Cotton Collection, Lakmedura, Paradise Road, Barefoot, Lanka Hands are some of the popular to visit.

Then experience the bustling Pettah Market and finally move to see the view of Indian ocean at greenest Galle Face. At the end of the tour you will be dropped off at your hotel in Colombo.
