Your sensory experience in Bangkok will begin by being met at your hotel by your Bangkok tour guide, from there you will take public transport to the sensory exhibition in darkness. This sensory experience in Bangkok is about switching on your senses. There will be one sense that is restrained and that is your sight. It doesn’t matter whether your eyes are open or closed as this sensory experience takes place in complete darkness. But before you go into the dark you will receive an introduction workshop with blind people, who will give you advice on how to get about in complete darkness. You will be given a cane for the sensory experience and your guide will lead you to the darkness exhibition where you will no longer take your sight for granted, you will realise the importance of perceptive senses around. This is an experience that will last for an hour, it's designed to offer an insight into how blind people go about their lives. Explore your non-visual senses in a sensory experience in Bangkok like no other. Experience daily tasks such as crossing the street, visiting a café and shopping in a sensory experience in a completely dark setting. After your sensory experience, you will be led to experience Thai Massage by blind person (you can choose a 60-minute foot massage or 60-minute body massage). The blind therapists will demonstrate their unique talent for massage therapy as they are able to fully focus on their heighten sense of touch in a way others are not able to.
After a blind Thai massage in Bangkok, you can converse with your hosts further before heading back to your hotel.
